My 1st Time Preparing Thanksgiving

Everyone seemed to fully enjoy my Thanksgiving day meal!!! I underestimated the time and multitasking involved in such a feat. I hope this can inspire anyone who would want to have the best of both worlds...Health and Festivities/Foods. I would like to thank my camper Michelle for the fruit turkey idea, Cassie for the "Living Raw Foods" book, the sugar free book by Mary Yoder and google.

  1. Wow everything looks amazing Joy!! =) It's hard to make everything healthy at thanksgiving and please everyone at the same time Ex) I was going to prepare fresh green beans with a drizzle of olive oil, garlic powder and diced almonds. And my brother became very upset because I wasn't going to prepare the green beans with butter. He said " Whats the point of thanksgiving if you are going to substitute everything with rabbit food..People want REAL food!" I just laughed. So I did my best and added some raw dishes to the table and those who wanted to try, did =)
