Bags and Boxes
I call snacks "bags and boxes" since most snacks are in them. What makes me mad about snacks is not only are they void of nutrients, but they don't even fill you up. It is very easy for you to eat chip after chip or pretzel after pretzel or cookie after cookie. To make matters worse, you are now training your taste buds to desire those things even more. Your best bet is to only snack on a handful of nuts/seeds for your 1st snack and fruit/veggies for your 2nd snack of the day or vice versa. Then you will start to train your taste buds to crave healthy snacks and a bonus is that you will really enjoy your meals even more.
