Guacamole Recipe

  • 3 avocados - peeled, pitted, and mashed
• 1 lime, juiced
• 1/2 cup diced onion
• 3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
• 2 roma (plum) tomatoes, diced
• 1 tablespoons minced garlic
• 1 pinch ground cayenne pepper (optional)
• Chopped jalapeños (optional)

DIRECTIONS
1. In a medium bowl, mash together the avocados and lime juice. Mix in onion, cilantro, tomatoes, and garlic. Stir in cayenne pepper. Refrigerate 1 hour for best flavor, or serve immediately.

(This is very good for you and WILL NOT MAKE YOU FAT! I usually make this guacamole once or twice per week. I put it on some of my veggie wraps, sandwiches or salads.)

  1. Thanks, Joy, for this recipe. I've always been afraid of branching out in the produce category, but the 30-day raw has forced me to do that. I can't wait to try this recipe!
